Check out the extensive rule flowchart below. Scenes from Toy Story 4 will be used on the screens, and Jersey Jack Pinball says the “voices of Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Bo Peep, Duke Caboom, and more” will be featured in the game – the callouts (on-the-fly commentary in pinball) will be by Buzz Lightyear and Woody. Toy Story 4 development was led by veteran Bally/Williams designer Pat Lawlor whose characteristic elements show up in Toy Story 4 game, like the jump ramp that resembles his No Good Gofers (1997) slam ramp feature, and the classic upper right flipper to ramp shot seen in many of his classics like The Addams Family (1992), and even the carnival aesthetic of FunHouse (1990).

One of the more alarming features is Gabby Gabby, who pops up out of the playfield as a bash toy. It is no surprise that several plastic toys are mounted on the playfield as well, including Buzz and Woody in the rear right. There’s a uniquely placed video screen on the right that simulates a mini pinball machine in one of the video modes. Stern draws in fans of their licensed themes based on films, comics, bands and other elements of pop culture, not by just cashing in on them, but by striving to make a really ground-breaking game with every new model they make. From the playfield image below and trailer above, there appear to be ramps on the left and right, an additional ramp shot via an upper right mini flipper, and a “jump ramp” which pops up out of the playfield to launch the ball onto a clear platform above the pop bumpers. They are known for their electrifying gameplay, impressive graphics, and immersive sounds effects. Stern is now the biggest pinball manufacturer worldwide, releasing three or four big titles a year, and is a widely-recognised name among enthusiasts and amateurs alike. A few weeks later Williams pulled out of pinball production to concentrate on the manufacture of slot machines, making way for Stern to become the main manufacturer of pinball machines in the following years. He intended the company to be aimed at a different clientele, incorporating licensed themes and aiming them at bars and restaurants. It was then bought by Sega in 1994, before Gary bought it back in 1999 and re-named it Stern Pinball Inc. Gary founded Delta East Pinball in 1986, after his father passed away. Through the 1950s and 60s Sam and Harry kept building the business successfully and before long it became a family affair, with Sam’s son Gary, at the age of 16, working in the Williams stock room. He convinced Harry to sell him half of the company and became the President of Williams. In 1947, Sam paid a visit to the founder of the leading pinball manufacturer at the time, Harry Williams of Williams Manufacturing Company.

They were becoming increasingly popular in the bars and restaurants where he worked in Philadelphia and he soon became so successful that he began distributing them too. It all began with Sam Stern, who operated pinball machines in the 1930s.
